Originally from Canada, I’ve spent most of my life in the southeastern United States. I moved to the Triangle area in 2015 after nearly 20 years of custom building in Charlotte. I have a passion for building, and renovations are my favorite projects because each one is unique. My perspective as a female builder and a mom shapes my approach to creating homes. The most rewarding part of my work is crafting safe, beautiful, and nurturing spaces for families.

Glenn Morrison

Construction Manager

Originally from New York, I’ve called eastern North Carolina home since middle school. After serving in the military, I entered the building industry and founded my own homebuilding company after completing college. Currently, I teach construction at Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC, where I also manage our Eastern NC construction operations.

Building has always been my passion, and I find great fulfillment in creating homes where families can grow and celebrate together.

Jonathan Batsel

Project Manager

I'm from Raleigh and have been a project manager with RLR for four years. With over nine years of experience in the home renovation and remodeling industry, my favorite part of the job is building personal relationships with our homeowners and their families. I love collaborating with them to bring their vision to life.

Born and raised in Raleigh, I've spent my entire life in this area. Working with RLR, I draw on over twenty years of experience in the industry. I thrive on the challenge of making things work and take great joy in delivering what our clients want, especially when I see their excitement at the results.

Colby Langley

Field Superintendent

Born and raised in Johnston County, North Carolina, I graduated from Wake Tech Community College with an associate degree in Construction Management. I have over three years of experience in remodeling and have been working as a Site Superintendent at RLR for the past year and a half. My favorite part of the job is witnessing the transformation of outdated or unused spaces into beautiful and functional environments.

Rhonda Adams

Office Manager

Originally from Garner, NC, I have a background in real estate and have spent the past year at RLR managing the office and assisting clients and colleagues. I’ve applied my real estate sales experience to residential construction, and I particularly enjoy helping with design and selections. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our customers pleased with the final results.

We are thrilled with the work Red Ladder Residential did for our home. We added an upstairs full bath which had originally been part of the bonus room. From start to finish, Nicole and her team were receptive, helpful, careful with their work, meticulous with detail and cleaned up at every step. We were out of town for the initial demolition (a positive for all concerned) but working remotely and/or around the house for the remainder--and found all the workers/subcontractors to be respectful and efficient. Interior decorating is not my forte, and Nicole's assistance with those decisions from color to tile choices were spot on. Can't wait to use the team again at a later date for a new deck ...

Red Ladder built a sunroom addition to our home which required extensive demolition. Nicole and her team did an excellent job and was able to complete the project earlier than expected AND under budget. And this was while battling the constraints of the beginning of CoVid supply challenges. We were so impressed that we contracted Red Ladder to turn our peninsula kitchen into an island with new quartz countertops all around. The project came in again earlier than expected and under budget. We worked well together. I would highly recommend Red Ladder.

For many years, we had contemplated the addition of a screen porch to our home. There was an undesirable section of our deck that was rarely used due to lack of shade. We had barely a sketch of our idea to present which was enough for Red Ladder to design and construct our addition.
